New coaches at Barry

Barry RFC are very pleased to announce the following appointments of Liam Scott as Head Coach and Mike Morgan as assistant coach; Liam will also focus on the forwards and Mike will focus on the Backs and attack.
Liam has also introduced a new format this year moving forward, the 2nds will now be known as Barrians and appointed to this position will be Transition coach Andy Leitch, who will also be a support to the Youth XV
Just wanted to give you some background on Liam, Mike and Andy’s previous appointments: -
Liam Scott - Level 3 Coach WRU Regional Co-Ordinator (Ospreys), Barry RFC - Assistant Coach, Bridgend District Youth - Head Coach, Cardiff Blues Women - Assistant Coach, Cardiff Blues U18 Girls - Head Coach and Cardiff Blues U16 – Assistant
Mike Morgan - Level 3 Coach, WRU Rugby Resource Development Manager, Bridgend RFC - Assistant Coach, Rumney RFC - Assistant & Head Coach, Cardiff Blues U16 South - Assistant Coach, Cardiff Blues U16 - Assistant Coach and Cardiff Blues Women - Assistant Coach.
Andy Leitch – Level 3 Coach, Ogmore Vale RFC - Head Coach, Dinas Powys Youth - Head Coach
Cardiff & District U12-U16 - Assistant Coach
Both Liam and Mike are also WRU Coach Educators
I think you’ll all agree that the coaching team certainly have the credentials to support the future of the club and I’m sure you would all like to join us wishing the Barry RFC squad and the new coaching setup all the very best of luck for the forthcoming season in Division 1 East Central, 2019/20, we look forward to your continued support at the games.
