The committee are delighted to announce that the recently retired Cardiff Blues talisman, Nick Williams, as of this week has joined Barry RFC.
Some of you maybe aware that Nick and his wife Gemma, along with their three daughters set up home here two years ago, they see their long term future in the town. Nick and his family want to embrace the local community and see the rugby club as a focal point. Nick has had a fantastic career in his home country of New Zealand and around the world and he wants to give back to his local community.
He will take up a very much of a floating role working in the background across all sections of the club as a Welfare and Coaching Advisor dovetailing into the committee, Senior Coaching Team, Coaching Development Officer U19’s and coaches of the M&J’s.
I’m sure along with the committee you’ll all like to extend the hand of friendship and family to Nick, Gemma and their daughters and offer them a warm ‘Bombers’ welcome to Barry RFC.
