Hi everyone,

Just a quick update from the Management Committee (MC) to let you know that we are extremely conscious of the frustration felt by you all in relation to the current restrictions on training and ultimately playing.
Over recent weeks there have been a number of meetings during which we have had to constantly monitor the upsurge in localised Covid cases and carefully consider what measures that we needed to put in place to protect all of you at this very frustrating and difficult time.
With this in mind some of us dinosaurs on the MC have banged our heads together and come up with, what we hope will be, a plan to keep us all in touch with each other until restrictions are lifted, and maybe even beyond that when life gets back to normal. 
We have spoken with our head coach Liam Scott and our club development officer Glyn Pirso and we are hoping to get off the ground next week a series of video blogs, I think they’re called “VLOGS”? Anyway we are planning to schedule a bit of digital interaction over the next couple of weeks. There are ideas to have some Q&A’s with maybe a few rugby faces that you will recognise. Liam and Glyn will explain things a little bit more clearly after their first broadcast and we sincerely hope that we can all engage positively and put some smiles on our faces, pick up some helpful tips for training and playing and talk about our hopes and ambitions once the season is up and running.
Please try and remain positive but above all else please stay safe! Things will get back to normal.
