Barry were well beaten by a slick Clwb Rygbi side who left with all the points from Reservoir Field.
Up against a side who came with a squad of 27, a depleted Barry side approached this game more in hope than expectation.
Indeed, there were only 13 players available at the start of the day, eventually bulstered by some players returning after a long lay-off.
Without any cohesion in their play, especially defensively, it was no surprise that the visitors ran in a number of tries in the first half.
With a stronger togetherness in the second half, Barry rallied after the interval to score through captain Dominic Busuttil and Saimoni Raseru; Forrester adding a conversion.
But with Clwb emptying their bench and against an increasingly tired defence, the visitors racked up the points to leave Barry empty-handed.
Barry will hope for better fortunes next weekend when they visit Llanishen.
